Apply to be a Student Board Representative!

The Ocosta School Board is recruiting one Student Board Representative for the 2025-26 school year.

The board expanded student voice starting with the 2023-24 school year.  The board would like to have two student representatives on the board, either a junior or senior from Ocosta Junior/Senior High School. 

Students will serve from the time they take their oath at the August 26, 2025  board meeting until June 30, 2026.

If you are a student who will be a junior or senior in fall 2025 and are interested in being a student board representative, please fill out and submit the student application.

Below is the Student Representative 2025-26 Selection Timeline:

• June 10-20: Applications accepted

• June 20: Application deadline: 11 p.m.

• June 26: Application screening by Superintendent, HS principal, Board Chair and Board Vice-Chair

• June 30: Student interviews; reference check

• July 1: Final selection; Students notified

• August 26: Swearing in New Student Board Representative @ 7:00 p.m. Board Meeting
