We are excited to share that Sophie Olive, a graduating member of the Ocosta High School Class of 2025, will be attending the University of Washington this fall!

Sophie has worked tirelessly throughout high school, maintaining a 4.0 GPA while participating in varsity volleyball, softball, and Knowledge Bowl. She is also an active National Honor Society and Multicultural Club member. Sophie’s dedication has earned her the All-Academic Award in both volleyball and softball every year and a consistent place on the Principal’s Honor Roll.

In addition to her activities at Ocosta, Sophie has been a Running Start student at Grays Harbor College since her junior year. She will graduate this summer with her Associate of Arts degree.

At the University of Washington, Sophie plans to major in Law, Societies, and Justice, with the goal of attending law school and becoming an attorney.

Sophie lives in Ocosta with her mother, Anjuleah Peterson. We are incredibly proud of Sophie’s achievements and excited to watch her continue to shine as she takes this next step in her academic journey.

Way to go, Sophie! 🐾
